Local Networking Groups

ABC-Michigan has two Local Networking Groups (LNGs) that host regular education and networking meetings.

The Detroit LNG typically meets on the 2nd Wednesday of each month.
During the even months, we host larger networking meetings at various reception venues around town, bringing in an education topic that appeals to a wide range of planners and vendors. These meetings run from 6:00-9:00 p.m.
During the odd months, we host shorter, more focused educational programs that run from 7:00-9:00 p.m.
There is no meeting in November, allowing members to attend ABC's annual Business of Brides Conference.

The Ann Arbor LNG typically meets on the 1st Tuesday of January, March, May, July, September and December.

2011 Annual Business of Brides Conference

If you're looking to learn new ways to take your business to the next level, make some great contacts from around the country, and come home feeling refreshed and energized, then ABC's annual Business of Brides conference is something you can't afford to miss.

This year's conference is in Baltimore and runs from Sunday, November 6 through Tuesday, November 8. The off-site events are just as valuable as the breakout sessions (plus they are a ton of fun!) so try to work those into your conference experience.

ABC-Michigan Office Hours

Each month, Laura Davis, Michigan state coordinator, holds office hours to answer questions about ABC, the points system, growing your business, industry issues, etc., at her studio in downtown Royal Oak. Office hours alternate between daytime and evening hours, and are open to the first 5 people to sign up. Please contact Laura at sc@abcmi.org to find out when the next office hours will be held.
