Association of Bridal Consultants - Michigan Branch

There are 5 levels of consultants in ABC. Using the point system, you can advance through your education, training, seminars and your portfolio to the level of Novice, Consultant, Professional Bridal Consultant, Accredited Bridal Consultant, and finally, Master Bridal Consultant.

Master Bridal Consultants™ are the "cream of the crop" when it comes to wedding planners. There are currently 50 worldwide that have reached this level of knowledge and expertise within ABC. It takes many years in the field and countless hours of continuing studies to even be considered for this level. We have two Master Bridal Consultants™ in Michigan.

Novice Members are wedding coordinators who are in training, since they have not completed the requirements to reach ABC's standards of a Professional Bridal Consultant™. As of July 2010, there are 32 Novice members in Michigan. It is the Association's policy to not give out names or list members who are still at the novice level, and they may not use the ABC logo in any of their advertising, literature or websites. This ensures the strength, quality, dedication and professionalism of our organization.
